It’s been a long-time dream of mine to produce an audiobook for Madeleine: An Autobiography.
With tales of vice, travel, big money, and stubbornly enduring romance, I believe Madeleine’s 1919 retrospective retains its power to grip audiences while humanizing sex workers by exemplifying our ingenuity.
I imagine Madeleine: The Audiobook as collaborative, comprised of the voices of many sex workers and updated for the 21st century, with “commercial” breaks between chapters cataloging pertinent historical tidbits.
